This is Me!

Boy! It's not easy to sum up me!

First of all, on January 9, 1990, I gave my life to Jesus. He has done far better with it than I ever could! "Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, 'I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." John 8:12

I am married to the father of my children, the Papa to my grandbabies & my best friend! We said "I do" on July 28, 1981 and we still do today! I refer to him as Carpenter in my posts because he is a great carpenter and because we've built a great life together and he can fix anything!

I have 5 AWESOME children that call me Mama. 3 girls and 2 boys. Modesty, the military and by special request from Carpenter prevents me from listing their names. I sometimes will call them "Princess" or "The Boy" or "That Child!". They are all grown now and the girls have all given me precious grandbabies! 8 between the 3 of them. The two boys are biding their time until they will give me precious grandbabies! HA!!

Those 8 precious grandbabies call me Nana and are really not babies any longer.  I would love to flood my blog with pictures & descriptions of these wonderful little beings, but - you guessed it - modesty, the military and a special request from Carpenter prevents me.

My "vocation" is Pharmacy Tech. I absolutely love my job! I get to work with caring, funny, cranky, sick, scared, wonderful people all day! I pray that I can bless them a fraction of how much they bless me!

I also like to read, craft, cook, garden, sew, crochet, scrapbook, write and hang out with the Carpenter

Well, that's me in a nutshell. You'll get a better idea of who I really am by reading my posts. Enjoy and don't forget to tell my what you think.

May God richly bless you and those around you!

*UPDATE* (2018) It's been a tough couple of years. Carpenter lost his mom in April of '17. It was expected but still very difficult. I lost both of my parents in January of this year. Complications due to pneumonia. Very unexpected and very difficult! Then my youngest brother was killed in a motorcycle accident in May. There were times when I really didn't think I would make it through. If it weren't for my faith in Christ, I know I couldn't have held on!

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
